I have really enjoyed making various soaps and cleansers. Over the past few months, I have learned how to make tons of different kinds that will help save me money. Last night, I found yet another. This one was a little different than the others.
Items needed: Frankincense, purification, lemon and lavender (I also added tea tree)
First step: Melt 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Step 2: Add your oils
Step 3: Place on your face for 1-2 minutes
Step 4: Wipe off with a cotton pad
My friend Jessica and I did this on a break between episodes of Alias Grace. It was super easy and the amount of crap that came off of both faces was sick. I wear makeup so mine was mostly that, but hers was stuff she encounters in a hospital. She doesn't wear makeup and she still had a good amount come off. I was really impressed. My face still feels soft and clean 12 hours later!
As the weather gets colder, my movie choices will start to gravitate to winter romances. When it comes to winter romances, nothing can beat Frozen. Don't you try and argue with me. I know Frozen takes place in the summer and Elsa turns the kingdom into winter after she panics after her coronation. Only everyone knows that. One of the best parts of Frozen is the character of Anna. I know all of you liked "Let It Go" and Queen Elsa, but I was team Anna all of the way. I never saw another Disney Princess quite like her. She made me feel like I was being represented. I'll tell you why...
She fell into a freaking boat. Okay, Hans kinda knocked her over. She also had a little slip on telling him how dreamy he was. So relatable.
This is what I look like in the morning. Thank you for recognizing that we tend to look like monsters in the morning. We don't need those high expectations.
That feeling you get when you smell chocolate can only be described as euphoria. Anna knows this. I know this. We need to go to DeBrands.
True love is sharing a sandwich. If you find someone who eats the same kind, keep them.
My mom came to visit me for her birthday. She has been just a little stressed about her birthday since her and my brother don't really speak much, so she came up here and we had some fun girl time. She made her shopping list and checked it twice. She lives in Howard County so the shopping is not so fantastic. You get whatever Kokomo has or you drive down to Indianapolis. I typically am like of that store... I never go there. I just know it is here so why make a big deal of it?! Her two stores down at Jefferson Point were Charming Charlie and Vera Bradley. I have never turned down a trip to Vera, even though I am not as into it as I used to be. Charming Charlie is continuously amazing. I am not the most stylish person, but occasionally they make me feel stylish.
Every store we went to, my mom would point out something awesome that was wine themed. Look at that cute magnet, look at that cute picture... It wasn't until we got to Charming Charlie that we saw things that were essentially me and everything my baby business stood for. I don't need to tell you about it because pictures are worth a thousand words.
All I can say is Christmas and birthday are coming up! ;)
